Our Emblem
The Windmill
Our emblem is not decorative. It is a direct tribute to Mykonos itself.
High on the hill above Chora stand the Kato Myli — the lower windmills — whitewashed towers with twelve narrow sails that have caught the Aegean meltemi for nearly five hundred years. Built by the Venetians in the 16th century, they ground the grain that fed a port at the crossroads of the eastern Mediterranean, when Mykonos was a staging post between Venice and Constantinople.
The twelve-sail design is specifically Cycladic — a wider catchment for lighter winds, thin cloth that could be loosened in storms. Every island in the archipelago had its windmills; none became as iconic as these.
We carry the Kato Myli as our mark because every Mykonos day still turns on the same wind they did — and because every good concierge service, in the end, is about catching it at the right moment.
